Artist’s Biography/Statement
I have always enjoyed drawing and when I was introduced to coloured pencil, I immediately loved it, as it seemed to suit my style of painting. I enjoy having the control I get from a pencil and being able to mix the colors on the paper in an attempt to capture the subject I am painting. I am always trying to improve myself artistically by taking courses at different institutes including the University of Calgary, North Mount Pleasant Arts Centre, Orleans Visual Arts Centre, and numerous self-studies.
